Ohioans experiencing a suicidal crisis, mental health or addiction-related distress can now call the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline for free, 24/7, confidential support for themselves or loved ones.

The DAS Ohio 9-1-1 Program Office and ESINet Steering Committee assisted the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services and its partners with the transition to ensure the 988 and 911 systems complement each other to ensure people in crisis get the emergency assistance they need.
