Project DAWN is a community-based drug overdose education and naloxone distribution program. It is a service offered by Samaritan Behavioral Health through funding from the ADAMHS Board and in conjunction with the MAT program. DAWN stands for Death Avoidance with Naloxone (Narcan).
Naloxone/Narcan is a medication that can reverse an overdose caused by an an opioid drug such as heroin, and pain medication such as Oxycontin, hydrocodone, Opana ER, etc.

DAWN kits will be mailed after the Narcan training video has been viewed and the Project DAWN registration form has been completed.
