United Against Violence is a collaboration of people and organizations committed to changing the culture of violence through the development of knowledge and skills to bring systemic change resulting in a safe community.

Goal

Reduce Part I and Part II Violent Crimes in designated Montgomery County neighborhoods  Westwood, North Riverdale, Harrison Township, and Trotwood) by 10% over three years (by 6-30-14), thus ultimately reducing group-member involved (GMI) gun violence.

Additional Goal for 2013-2016

Reduce Part I and Part II Violent Crimes in designated Montgomery County neighborhoods (Westwood, North Riverdale, Harrison Township and Trotwood) by a further reduction from the 2014 goal by 2% over 2 years (by June 30, 2016), thus ultimately reducing group-member (GMI) gun violence.

  • Educate the Community that Violence can be Prevented
  • Provide and Reinforce Positive Outlets for Self-Discipline and Public Health
